9/23





Fishing has been fantastic up here recently. The fall bugs are rally starting to come out and they're dropping the water levels toward their winter flows. This tends to concentrate the fish and can make for some great days. I've had a number of good days on the snake with clients the past couple of weekends and we've done well both days with a good number of large cutties being caught, almost entirely on dries. I Did have a day with some buddies over on the south fork this past weekend and it was good fishing. They changed the water on us that day so there was a pretty good lull in the midday fishing but the morning and evening was very good with all of our fish being caught on small dry flies.
