the dry fly action on the snake and sf has stayed very good. we've had warm sunny weather recently but some of that cold fall weather is going to be moving in this week. this could turn the fishing on as the fish start to realize that the winter is coming

Fishing continues to be very good recently with very good midday hatches of snake drakes, mahogany duns, and some baetis.

well One-Fly is finally over. it was a good tourney but i'm glad its finally over. fishing since then has been very good with excellent dry fly fishing on stoneflies, mahogany duns, baetis, and drakes. we did get a big 21.5 inch brown on the snake today to eat a large royal wulff. that was kinda the highlight fish of the week. hopefully i'll have some more big fish pics to post soon

sorry for the delay but i've been very busy recently with pre one-fly activities. i've spent alot of time with clients practicing for the one fly recently and the fishing has been mostly very good with a few unusually poor days mixed in. we did have a big cold front move through recently which was a contributing factor on the slow days. here are a few pics from recent days... i'll try and put an update up after one fly.

I've spent the past couple of days fishing both the snake and south fork. both have been excellent with primarily dry fly fishing still. the snake is fantastic right now and i think i'll be fishing there on my day off tomorrow. we'll see... you can't go wrong
