June Fishing
Fishing has been very good in the area recently. The South Fork in particular has been on fire. Its been almost entirely nymphing up to this point, but we did finally get some dry fly action on Wednesday. Lots of big bugs are starting to move, not hatch, and PMDs are hatching. The Green river is just starting to clear and should be fishing well any day now. The upper Snake River has been consistent and we're beginning to see good hatches. The only complaint about the Snake is that the flows out of the dam are very high. They've recently bumped them from a very nice 2500 cfs up to 5000 cfs in about 48 hrs. Hopefully this will make for better flows during the mid-summer season. Here are some pictures from a recent guys trip.
